First, thanks to Doug for giving me the opportunity to post on his blog. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Chris Baggott, and I’m the co-founder/CEO of Compendium Blogware.

I’ll jump right in with some thoughts about Web 2.0 marketing. At the end of the day, being a successful marketer in a Web 2.0 world has a lot to do with authenticity.

People like people. People buy from people. It’s as simple as that. Of course you want to build better relationships with your prospects and customers. That’s why you have to show your human side. And blogging can help get you there.
