BlueLock Video: Cloud Computing

Great interview and simple description of cloud computing on WishTV with my friend, Brian Wolff, at BlueLock.

It’s a fascinating technology that, I believe, will eventually encompass all of the Internet. If you’d like to read a great book on the future of cloud computing, I’d recommend Nicholas Carr’s The Big Switch.

Techpoint Presents Patronpath

I’ve reduced the size of the video a little to fit in my blog, so some of the graphics look a little distorted. You can see this full video at Techpoint’s Video Magazine.

This is a video done for Techpoint by Cantaloupe to showcase the 2008 Mira Award winners. This was an incredible achievement by Patronpath and provides some great insight into what we do and why we won the award. Great video and you even see me in it for a split second. :)

Thank Goodness for Friends!

For those of you that noticed that I disappeared off the net this weekend, I apologize for not even posting a note or two. We had a bit of a family crisis at home that took all my attention and energy. No matter how important my blog is and keeping up my online reputation, nothing is as important as family.

I am very thankful for my friends, online and offline, during these challenging times. I had quite a few emails this weekend just asking if everything is okay. (It’s not okay yet, but it will get there.)

How to attend a $2,000 Blogging Conference for $49

There are quite a few blogging conferences that happen around the country each year. The value of attending a blogging conference is enormous, exposing you to search engine optimization, copy writing, blog technology and how to make your blogging experience a profitable one. That’s why many attendees pay upwards of $2,000 to attend these conferences.

You don’t need to pay $2,000, though! How does $49 sound?

Amazingly New Email Design (Needed)

Here’s another email that I love to get, but usually don’t do anything with! This is the Downtown Indianapolis, Amazingly New Email.

I stay subscribed because I hope that a new design comes forth - the information to promote downtown Indianapolis is all there, but the design makes the email unreadable and unusable. Here’s why:

Stuck on a Plane for 3.5 Hours

I recognize issues with the weather and appreciate that the airlines wish to keep people safe. My 14 year old daughter is on her first trip with her class to Washington D.C. She’s been sending photos to me of the White House, the Washington Monument, the Constitution and other sites since she arrived on Sunday night.
