Who’s Twittering You?

On my feed this morning, up popped a post that caught my attention, How to setup a Twitter listening post. Once I clicked through to the post, though, I was disappointed because there was actually no details on setting up an actual listener. Instead, I was simply met with a post on how to setup a Twitter account.

My Identica - Is it the only micro blogging platform which can get on Techmeme ?

I am hardly a geek so i don’t use micro blogging services. I just know twitter. friendfeed ? tumblr ?

Today I cam across Identi.ca news on Techmeme (in fact a real lot of news coverage)

It’s time!

You folks may have read about the tiff a while back between Robert Scoble and Twitter. Scoble did meet with Twitter and resolve the situation. Some folks are speaking about a business model with these micro-blogging services where popular users pay for the service.

Twitter Marketing

I’ve been discussing this with many of the companies I work with. If you do email alerts or want to alert folks when you publish new material, think about integrating Twitter into your mix. I publish the feeds of many sites to Twitterfeed and I’m surprised how many people subscribe and take advantage. I also publish my blog posts in Twitter.

I’m not sure I’d utilize a free service like Twitterfeed for corporate marketing strategies, it’s easy enough to build a post device to push these alerts to Twitter in any platform.
