According to new information from app store intelligence firm Sensor Tower, American consumers spent an average of $138 on iPhone apps last year, up 38 percent year-over-year, due to the impact of the pandemic. During 2020, consumers turned to iPhone apps for work, school, entertainment, shopping, and more.
